Amberville

Amberville - Tim Davys A noir tale in a world populated by stuffed animals? It seemed like it could be a fun concept. Unfortunately, the use of stuffed animals added nothing to the story. It added neither humor nor metaphor. And, although I expect a certain amount of cliche from a genre when I read a genre book, it was so cliche, there were no surprises.

The only thing that got me through the book was the discussion of good and evil. I was curious to see how far the author developed that philosophical discussion.

The most creative point in the book was calling the cathedral Sagrada Bastante (Sacred Enough).
